Blue Ocean is a surf school and rental outfit based at Ribeira d'Ilhas inside Ericeira's World Surfing Reserve, run by founder Ulisses Reis with FPS-qualified coaches. Lessons cover beginners through advanced, with board and wetsuit hire available from the beach shop.

Lessons
- Beginner group classes — 2 hours; max 6 per teacher (minimum 3 students); board, wetsuit, insurance and FPS-accredited instructor included
- Intermediate/advanced classes — 2 hours; max 4 per teacher at the same level (minimum 3 students); prior ocean/level evaluation required; board, wetsuit, insurance and instructor included
- Private classes — 2 hours; 1–4 people; any level; board, wetsuit, insurance and instructor included
