Escuela de Surf Santander-El Sardinero
Escuela de Surf Santander-El Sardinero is a surf school in Santander, Cantabria, Spain.
Founded by Juan Palazuelos in 1999, Escuela de Surf Santander teaches from bases at Playa de Valdearenas in Liencres and Beup Sardinero in the city. Recognised by the Spanish and Cantabrian surf federations, it is still run as a small coaching family — many instructors are former pupils — with Estefan co-directing since 2020.

Lessons
- Weekly surf course — 5 group classes Mon–Fri, 1.5 hours, all ages; Valdearenas or El Sardinero
- Weekly bodyboard course — 5 group classes Mon–Fri, 1.5 hours, all ages; Valdearenas
- Single group surf/bodyboard class — 1.5 hours, subject to availability
- Private lesson — up to 4 people, 2 hours; €25 extra per additional person
- Weekend course — 2 group classes Sat–Sun, 1.5 hours; Valdearenas
- SUP session — 1.5 hours at Playa de Peligros with StandUpSantander
- Large groups and winter school (10-class bono) — price on request
Rentals
- Surfboard / bodyboard: 2h €15, 4h €20, 6h €25, 8h €30, 10h €35, 12h €40
- Wetsuit / fins: 2h €5, 4h €8, 6h €10, 8h €12, 10h €15, 12h €20
- ID/passport/driving licence deposit required; hire refused if sea conditions are unsafe

- Campus de Surf — ages 8–14, Mon–Fri at Valdearenas (Liencres); drop-off from 9:30, activity ~10:00–14:00, pickup until 15:00; max 12; surf, bodyboard and beach games; RC and accident insurance included
