Lagos Surf Safari has run van-based surf trips from Lagos and Praia da Luz for over 17 years, choosing West or South Coast beaches by the day's conditions. ASI- and Portuguese Surfing Federation–accredited instructors keep sessions small, with transport, kit, snacks, and sports insurance built into each full day.

Lessons

Group surf trips — full day; pickups typically 8:00–9:00 from Lagos area (Burgau / Praia da Luz on request); 2 × 1.5-hour sessions; max 8 students per instructor; beginners to advanced
Private lessons — max 2 students per instructor; includes transport, board, wetsuit, 2 × 90-minute sessions, sports insurance and snacks
Family surfing — children under 13 accompanied by an adult
Surf guiding days for experienced / pro surfers
